Supported Countries

Where RevKeen operates — merchant underwriting coverage, customer payment acceptance, and settlement currencies.

Supported Countries

RevKeen operates across three distinct coverage layers: where you can have a merchant account, where your customers can pay you, and what currencies we settle in. Each layer has different rules and rollout schedules.

Merchant underwriting

Countries where a business can sign up as a RevKeen merchant, subject to standard underwriting.

Expansion requests

If your country is not listed and you want to become a RevKeen merchant, contact sales with your business details, expected monthly volume, and customer geography. We expand underwriting coverage based on aggregate demand and regulatory feasibility — your request helps inform our roadmap.

Customer payment acceptance

RevKeen merchants can accept payments from customers anywhere in the world where their cards are issued. The card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) operate globally, so customer-side geography is rarely a constraint.

Fully supported

Cards issued in any country where the issuing bank participates in Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, JCB, Diners, or UnionPay networks can be processed through RevKeen. This covers over 200 countries and territories.

Enhanced fraud screening

Transactions from the following regions automatically trigger enhanced fraud screening (additional AVS, CVV, velocity, and device-fingerprinting checks). This does not change the processing fee or merchant experience, but may result in elevated decline rates for prospective customers with limited transaction history:

  • Countries on the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list (transactions blocked)
  • Countries subject to UK HM Treasury financial sanctions (transactions blocked)
  • High-risk jurisdictions per the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey and black lists (enhanced screening)
  • Countries with historically elevated chargeback rates (enhanced screening, may require merchant pre-approval)

Blocked countries

Transactions originating from the following countries are not processed regardless of merchant location, in line with international sanctions and card network rules:

  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • North Korea
  • Syria
  • Russia (subject to ongoing sanctions, currently blocked for most transaction types)
  • Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions
  • Any country added to OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list

Settlement currencies

Currencies in which the relevant provider may settle funds to your nominated bank account:

British PoundGBPAll current merchant countries
EuroEUREEA merchants and UK merchants with EUR account
US DollarUSDAll current merchant countries with USD account

Multi-currency acceptance

RevKeen accepts payments in 135+ currencies at checkout. Customer-facing currencies can be configured per-product or per-market. Currency conversion from the customer's currency to your settlement currency happens at the card network interbank rate at the time of capture — RevKeen does not add an FX margin.

For comparison, Paddle and PayPal typically add a 2%–3% FX margin on currency conversion. Polar passes through Stripe's FX fees of 0.25%–1% depending on destination currency.

Corporate status

  • RevKeen Ltd is incorporated in Jersey under registered number 165039.
  • RevKeen is a billing and payments technology platform and introducer. It is not a payment facilitator, card acquirer, bank, or electronic money institution.
  • Merchants hold their own provider accounts. Elavon and London & Zurich perform their own regulated underwriting and compliance checks under their agreements with each merchant.
  • Card data is tokenised through NMI Collect.js so RevKeen does not store full card numbers or CVV/CVC. Do not infer a RevKeen regulatory permission or PCI certification beyond the evidence published on the Trust page.
