- How to unpair a device
Viewing Your Devices
Navigate to Apps > Marketplace > Terminal in the RevKeen Dashboard to see all your connectors and terminals.
Device Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Online (green dot) | Connector is connected, terminal is paired and reachable |
| Offline (amber dot) | Connector has not sent a heartbeat in the last 5 minutes |
| Not registered | Connector is created but the linking code has not been entered yet |
A device must be Online with a paired terminal to accept payments.
Terminal Cards
Each paired terminal shows:
- Serial number -- The PAX terminal's hardware serial number
- Connected connector -- Which connector app is managing this terminal
- 24-hour transaction count -- Total payment attempts in the last 24 hours
- Approved count -- Number of successful transactions
Click View Transactions on any terminal card to filter the transaction history to that specific device.
Health Metrics
The Terminal settings page header shows aggregate health metrics across all your terminals:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Transactions (24h) | Total terminal payment attempts in the last 24 hours |
| Success rate | Percentage of approved transactions |
| Average response time | Mean time from payment request to terminal response |
These metrics update every 30 seconds.
Updating Connectors
When a new version of the Terminal Connector is available, an amber banner appears at the top of the Terminal settings page:
- The banner shows the new version number and which connectors are outdated
- Click the Update button next to each connector you want to update
- The update command is sent to the connector, which downloads and installs the update automatically
You cannot update a connector while a payment is in progress. Wait for any active payments to complete first.
Unpairing a Device
To remove a connector and unpair its terminal:
- Find the connector in the Connectors section
- Click the delete (trash) icon
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
This permanently removes the connector registration. The terminal will no longer accept payments through this connector. To reconnect, you'll need to go through the linking process again with a new code.
Adding More Connectors
Click Add Connector in the Connectors section to start the setup wizard for an additional connector. This is useful when:
- You have terminals at multiple locations (each location needs its own connector on a computer on that LAN)
- You want a backup connector on a different computer at the same location
