Sell From Your Own Site

Sell RevKeen products from a site you built with Webflow, an AI app builder or plain HTML, using a checkout link or the Embed cart drawer.

You can sell from the website you already have. Your site shows the product and a button; RevKeen hosted checkout takes the payment. The amount is always worked out on RevKeen's servers, so nothing on your page can change what a buyer is charged.

Start in Dashboard > Commerce > Builders. Choose what to sell once, and every snippet and prompt on that page is filled in from your choice.

AI app buildersA generated product page with a live price and a buy buttonA checkout linkPrompts in the Dashboard

The simplest option, and it works in any site builder.

  1. Create a checkout link in Dashboard > Products > Checkout links, or pick one on Commerce > Builders. See Checkout Links.
  2. Copy the link URL. It looks like https://checkout.revkeen.com/l/<link id>.
  3. In your site builder, set any button or link to that URL, then publish.

The link is public by design; it is not a key. You do not need an API key or a registered origin. If you type the price next to the button yourself, keep it in step with the link: the buyer is always charged the price shown at checkout.

Cart drawer (Webflow and HTML)

The cart drawer lets buyers add several products before checking out. It runs from one script tag and needs a Cart publishable key and your site's origin registered with RevKeen.

  1. In Dashboard > Commerce > Embed, issue a Cart publishable key and register the exact origin of your site. Register a builder's preview address, such as https://your-site.webflow.io, and your own domain separately.
  2. Copy the snippet from the same page and add it to your site. The Embed guide shows where Webflow, WordPress, Squarespace and Wix take custom code.
  3. Add data-revkeen-product-id to each add-to-cart button. See Trigger attributes.
  4. Publish, then make a test purchase on the published site. Custom code does not run in most builders' design previews.

Never put a secret key (rk_live_* or rk_sandbox_*) in a web page. The drawer only needs the publishable key.

AI app builders (Lovable, v0 and Bolt)

Commerce > Builders has ready-made prompts for Lovable, v0 and Bolt, filled in with the checkout link you chose. Paste the prompt into the builder. The page it asks for:

  • reads the link's current price from GET https://api.revkeen.com/public/payment-links/<link id>, which needs no credentials;
  • shows that price, never one typed into the code;
  • sends the buyer to the checkout_url from that response.

If a link cannot be bought, for example because it is archived, expired or disabled, the endpoint answers 404 with PAYMENT_LINK_UNAVAILABLE and the page should show the product as unavailable. The price may be cached for up to about a minute.

Before you publish a generated page, check the code:

  • No string starting rk_live_, rk_sandbox_ or rk_pk_, and no RevKeen environment variable. This flow uses no key.
  • No price typed into the code. The price comes from the response.
  • The buy button uses checkout_url from the response.
  • No server route, database or card form was added.

Framer and React

A Framer plugin and a React component package are being built. Neither is available to install yet, and the Dashboard marks both as coming soon. Until then, use a buy link in Framer, or the cart drawer in a React app.

Confirming payment

A buyer returning to your site is not proof of payment. Confirm orders from webhooks or in the Dashboard.
